Well, better late than never! Connor and Carter have finally learned how to ride bikes without training wheels! The location of our house doesn't afford us opportunity to practice, so we went to a neighbor's house... and in about 30 minutes, these two guys were confident bi-peddlers! Their friends have been riding bikes for the last couple years, so mom and dad were anxious to get our kids up to speed! Little Colton came close to learning, but he still needs a little more time.
Looking at the picture of my hand releasing Carter reminds me of what it is going to be like when he turns 18 and goes off to college. I have to make sure I train him how to live his life pleasing to the Lord before he leaves my house! The privilege of parenthood continually offers opportunities for tears, from an overwhelmed heart of love for our kids.
