I am at it again.
I am walking around Kwest like a kid in a candy shop.
We are opening kamp and I decided to come a few days early.
It's fun...really fun.
Just put up Jake's dog cage. Right after that, I walked over to the Dining Hall to hand out our first package of the summer...Jenica Flippo was the only one over there and thankfully, she was the recipient of the package. Next I grabbed a pick up and a shop vac and started at it again. It's always sweet.
It's pretty neat to think that we get to share the gospel with over 1500 kids this summer. Some of them are drowning right now. They need help spiritually. Some know it, others don't, but the reality is that I am praying God has it in His plan to allow us to throw them a life preserver and be a part of the rescue that can happen here at Kwest.
I just spoke to my buddy Brian. Right over the hill just a few miles away at Blue Eye Jr high is a young man who is drowning that needs help. I hope we can get to him quick enough...maybe even via Kwest. It reminded me of the seriousness of our call this year, as well as the urgency.
If you are coming here this summer, get ready for an awesome time. If you are working on staff, prepare to be a part of a life saving rescue. If wish you could be here, but can't, pray for us. We are so privileged to do what we do.
